Hi all,
The IR STG is a nice looking model and I would like to use it for a single fire purpose. I started with a sniper and only changed the model. This somehow works, at least the enemy receives one shot, but the rifle shows a burst animation. I tried an animator_set_state in fire_ext with a small delay to set the state to cooldown, but that doesn't seem to work after reloading.
Do you have any suggestions/ideas?

You can try this
copy"weapon\axis\small_arms\single_fire\rifle\g43_sniper_sniper_mp" "aim" and "burst" to new weapon.
Adjust "reload/frequency" to change number of cooldowns.

Never mind... I messed up by putting the animator_set_state in the requirement_action which requires camo. The sniper got back in camo after reloading, so it didn't trigger then.

I've tried single-fire StG44 via giving it a very very very short burst and distance modifiers. However, in my opinion, it's not the animation necessarily that is the biggest problem; it's the sound effect associated with the StG44, which occasionally still sounds like 2 rounds rather than 1 being fired due to the sound file being a sound loop.
