I've looked through the AE but can't find what is that makes the terror officer retreat all infantry when he gets killed, it's a really annoying "ability" that is given to him through the vanilla game.
How do I remove it?

Ah, that's where it's hidden. I was looking through where abilities normally are: ability, action_apply, modifier_apply and squad_combat_behaviour.
