Now there is no incentive for the construction of T-34-76. He comes at the same time as the Pz4 which beats him as an anti-infantry and anti tank. Or a little earlier than the Panther if the German does not go to T3. Maybe in 1 vs 1 this has a meaning, but in 2 vs 2 and above in T-34 there is no sense.


Medium tanks getting obliterated by the saturation of team weapons and tank destroyers is a problem with teamgames, not a problem with the T-34/76.

As I said, I think it could do with a +20 penetration buff, but putting it in T3 is insane.

T34 is perfectly fine as it is. That would simply remove T70 or even any T3 units rendering it useless.

It is fine as it currently is in my opinion as it is a good tank for its price and performance especially timing.

I do agree also the T34-85 should be non-doc. SU cheap version approach to Panther although it is nowhere near it. That would be interesting to see.

T3 vehicles have very defined roles.

T34 can't outperform the T70 in the anti infantry department, and its vet1 ability is laughable compared to the T70 recon+capture. The Su76 its far better in the anti vehicle role while also being able to reveal infantry in the minimap.

The T34 would end up as a middle of the road, more brute force oriented alternative.

If T34 is to be moved to T3 it will need a fuel cost increase to compensate it, but it should be lowered to 90 (as it is now) when T4 is built for it to keep its stats

In my opinion T34/76 is a pretty good tank for his role (flanking) but still needs a small buff. I think that its pretty low price could be lowered further more (290/85), or his Vet 1 skills should change to something like Blitzkrieg to improve its flanking eficiency.

I see your point. But what role would the t70 need to fill? Scouting? Other then that i can not think of anything else.

If you let me be creative, i can give some ideas:
-Scouting (with the toggle ability) and maybe some arty calling ability locked to T4 (for katyushas or B4s)
-Region capping abilities paired with scouting (buffing its LoS)
-Cheaper alternative (means it will get cost reduction) and maybe a slight performance nerf (to justify its new timing and cost)
-AEC oriented LV, more skills in exange less plain performance (Add smoke shells, canister shells, incendiary shells or some main gun sniping ability, to take down other tanks main gun for example)
-As a lategame upgrade command tank (i do not like this one that much, but hey, rommel traveled in a Puma!)
-As a self propelled heavy cover for infantry (with the use of handbrake or any new ability that gives "cover" aura)

-As a meme unit (JK)

-As a logistic unit, like a 223.

Those numbers seem fine. The close pen of 140 is the important one.

A bit more pen would work wonders on this unit. I disagree with a move to T3, it would just encourage staying in T3 and making T34s and stalling for a heavy.

I had a suggestion once upon a time :

T4 : T34/76 90 fu. Having T3 unlocks T34/76 (in T3) for 100 fu.
This allows to make more T34s, albeit less efficiently.

The Ostheer Panzer building is 15 fu !!! The Russian equivalent is 90 fu.
Yes. I know about Battle Phase costs. Still.

Making T34 earlier is not the answer, however.

* I agree with Katitoff that if you put T34/76 into T3 as it is, you've
just deleted the T70.

I think it should appear in T3 AFTER T4 has been unlocked (And cost more)
(In T3 only, not T4 - that one remains at 90 fu).

The concept of the T34 is flanking, this would feed into the aggressive playstyle of Soviets as a cheap throw away unit that pushes into enemy lines to force a break through. The only problem I see atm is that the T34 will always be suicided for rocket arty.

Parallel building, I'd assume.

Given the speed you get fuel in this game I don't really see much benefit though. You don't have the float to make it worthwhile.

It costs about the same, so it wouldn't be an efficient unit to trade like that.

I think just the penetration would do it.

It's similar to USA's use of the captain to make tanks 3x faster.
It's similar to Wehr's Pz4 factory costing 15 fuel (!!!)
Ostheer factory : 15 fuel
Soviet factory : 90 fuel

Soviets can have huge, harder to replace losses. Esp since they have - LESS - factory
power than Ostheer's

It's simply an option. And people can't say it's overpowered.
OF COURSE you'd only build T34 from T4. But if you just lost all your tanks,
it allows you to replenish your tank forces faster.

I didn't forget about phase upgrades.
But once you have that first Factory, parallel factories cost 15 fu only.

Soviets, phase AND factory cost are built-into the factory.
So that if you want parallel factories, they'll cost 90fu each.

It's not an OP ability for the soviets to gain parallel production as I've
described, and it'd come in way handy, if they have an important loss of tanks
to make up for. Which happens more often to Soviets than Germans :)

Huh. I never knew you could do that.

However, given how infrequently you can afford to parralel produce tanks, I don't think it's worth 140 MP 15 FU.

I don't even think it's worth cluttering the Soviet UI.
