It's the same problem as the sniper, really. It's an all-or-nothing unit design on an expensive, high value unit.

The moment it goes up, you have to commit to destroying it.

I think both the Bofors and Mortar Pit need fairly drastic changes. Halve the cost and halve the performance across the board.
