Cant win 2v2 on Fields of Winnekendonk as Soviet?

My 12th loss in 2v2 on this map, I had some very bad partners, but in general, I've also noticed it is my worst map. Any thoughts on what makes this map so hard for soviets? I'm becoming convinced that the map is a breeze for Axis due to having so much space to maneuver light vehicles. Thoughts?

This is a tricky map and you might lock down your enemies in the beginning and then suddenly get pushed back. I also hate this map, but since you say that you play with randoms, you should focus on your side of the map, win, secure it and then proceed to help your partners. At least this is what i do. Also, mines in key spots of the map will certainly help.
