I checked vonivans stream. He got owned with pathfinders and switched to ass engies. I also spectated some luvnest games with pathfinders spam and saw him losing to some nonames. You have any particular streamer in mind?

Maybe some Polish expert like Capt.SPrice or Kimbo boi LUL.

Pretty sure the i&r pathfinders with 1 sniper rifle perform better in combat than standard ones with 2 rifles.

Depends, scope rifles become very strong when there are allot of them and when combined with weapona that spread damage like BARs and Mortars.

In addition one CP 1 and the other is CP 0.

Well i was talking about their combat power regardless of cp requirement. But i did some testing now and it seems standard pathfinders are stronger at mid and far range while i&r are better at close range.

My point was that the performance of infantry with critical kill 1vs1 does not give the whole picture.

Critical kill becomes problematic when they included in a blob.

Pathfinder spam is pretty poop versus OKW JLI spam. I think people are testing it out right now because it's new and interesting, I expect it to die as meta when everyone realizes JLI hardcounter them.

US pathfinders can pick up BARs and become quite capable of bringing enemies to below the sniping threshold.

What you are proposing is nerfing it into irrelevance, not "fixing" it.

Soo you're saying that if you invest 120 muni in addition, you -might- get something a little bit comparable to 45 muni investment?

You have just made another argument why JLI require a nerf in a way.

JLI would become irrelevant? Hardly... even with a nerf to 40% crit they still remain ridiculously strong due to their abilities that pathfinders dont have + 5 man squad

No, what I am saying is with BAR or double BAR, the pathfinder can very rapidly bring a target to the snipe threshold at all ranges, while JLIs can't really do that, hence the 290 MP cost.

It also is specifically made to complement the paratrooper doctrine, while the JLI is just an ordinary call-in with no special interaction with overwatch or salvage doctrine.

JLI requires a nerf, but not the proposed "340 mp, 6CP".

I'd rather try it at like 60% crit and 1 or perhaps a munitions snipe like pathfinders had in the AA campaign. Obviously JLI need to bring something to the table, but snipe at 75 % is well above their cost as a force multiplier. Keep in mind that snipers cost 50% and are massively more squishy. Obviously snipers crit at full but in comparison the risk/reward/cost effeciency of JLI is way high.

If it is a munition snipe then its base performance would need to go up as well? It is only so broken with the 70%+ snipe, not because the rifles are particularly impressive.

They do not perform like obers at all, they are too cheap at 250mp, and the ambush bonus they receive could be toned down but that would be it.

As I said, cost to 280-300mp like before and snipe reduced from 75% to a more reasonable number is all it needs.
