Yes indeed, but that unit doesn't add anything. It would need a big rework to be usefull.

UKF call-in tanks would come with infantry. Those engineers would come with avre.

JP4 isn't going anywhere and if you need weaker TD, there is a puma already.


Puma kinda sucks accuracy wise, and isn't very durable obviously, so I think it wouldn't be bad to have an SU-76-like light tank destroyer with good range, more hp/armor than Puma and maybe a nice ability as a stopgap measure before teching T4, but doctrinal only. It would fit the more defensive players who can't micro a Puma to its full potential.

I'm quite positive that one of the abilities they had was salvage, so there is that.
This is also why calling in AVRE puts flares over all the wreckages on the map, its a leftover of scrapped half of ability.

Well that is inaccurate.

Those are Recovery Sapper who are in the game.

Avre does not put flares wreckage on the map, it put flares in the point it called in.

Demolition sappers had access to demolition charges and light gammon bombs.

I'd done this:
- every stationary weapons is emplacement like the brits got (howitzers, pak43's flaks etc"
- pak43 for ostheer and flak 88 for OKW
- give more opel blitz for ostheer commanders, make OKW opel blitz same as ostheer one (securing points etc) and give soviets the ZiS truck or w/e it is called so it is also securing point
- non doc forward HQ that can produce basic inf and optionally weapon teams if required tier is build, reinforce, and is only possible to make it on medium up to maximum sized buildings, and these buildings got more HP, resistance or whatever makes then sustain much fire
- Jumbo sherman for US, doctrinal unit, probably replacing E8 from mechanized
- urban doctrine for soviets that gives all the goodiess for close combat/clearing buildings/big shells so i think of - dbl flamer upgrade for engies, ppsh, better forward HQ, KV-2, booby trap on points
- something like CoH1 blitzkrieg ability for some ostheer commanders, equivalent to others like valiant assault or FMR
- replacing mortar HT for ostheer with standard HT (same model without mortar) that can be upgraded with MG/mortar or simply nothing that can reinforce and carry units
- some kind of bunkers for soviets and maybe concrete bunkers for OKW (something like it was in CoH1)
- Churchill Black Prince a.k.a british KT for brits
- maybe make pak43's and 17 pounders as a mobile AT guns, and slow
- SPG's arty for ostheer, OKW, soviets (US and brits already got suckston and priest)

I think there's an issue on retreat units, slowing them down. Fix this or make it so they are only buildable on own territories and cleared by any light vehicle unit and it might possible be something which can be used.

I think that defensive fortifications should be in the Community Defensive Tactics, this commander also should have the ability to use ammunition, using this commander and organizing a mine war, there still remains a huge of ammunition.

Sorry for the mini-necro (sort of) but I also remembered about this nigo posted a long time ago:



Which hinted at a US Rifleman Marksman ability which would make sense, the US Army in WW2 did not deploy Snipers like the Germans or British, instead they had designated marksmen in each squad, armed with either a Scoped M1903 Springfield or a scoped M1 Garand (less probable).
