OKW vet nerfed a bit too much?

So i was playing against a us player, i was doing well, managed to wipe his captain and do a lot of damage, but the longer the game took and the more his troops got vetted up the more i started to lose. My vet 5 fallshrimjagers where unable to do any significant damage to his vet 3 rangers at medium range. my vet 5 volks with stg44 lost to his vet 3 riflemen with bars at close range. Before the spring balance patch the vet was rewarding but now it hardly does anything, is it just me or are people having similar problems?
i would appreciate any help.

OKW vet gives relatively same stat boosts as other factions vet.
Vet5 gives more utilities and that's it, its not meant to be stronger.

And I see nothing wrong with expensive rifles beating cheap volks.

although some vet changes are kinda unfair. Like mortar changes in last patch. All mortars got barrage scatter at vet3 and LEIG got it in vet5 which is way harder to get and needs much more exp to reach.

Look at the lefh18 if you want to see what okw vet has become. It's the exact same as the OST 3 levels of vet spread across 5 levels.

The whole vet system needs to be looked at.

Currently:
Su-76 Xp value is too low
Penal vet bonuses are too high
Conscripts vet 3 bonuses are better than Vg vet 3 bonuses
Some vet abilities are too strong other useless

Xp values, vetting speed, vet abilities and vet bonuses all need to be looked at (they should had been looked year ago)

IMO especially some vet requirements for OKW need to be adjusted. Kubel will barely reach vet2 even if used the entire early game. Tanks like the KT or Sturmtiger can get 20-30 inf kills without even reaching vet2. Leig is almost impossible to get beyond vet3. Sturmpio's take too long to vet and don't get enough vet bonus to fight beyond mid game.

Yeah...I said that before. I don´t know why this doesn´t get changed. If SPs had better vet (better bonuses and lower requirements) they could actually scale into late game. But now they become really bad after the first few minutes because they have no chance to close the distance vs vetted mainline infantry.

Given the fact that this was put for OKW by modders and was not originally for them to have, I wouldn't expect much of finesse. Plus, its arty piece, what exactly can you give it in terms of utility vet? Smoke barrage?

Scatter reduction, range increase, cooldown decrease, AOE increase, some sort of direct fire ability, aim time decrease, etc etc... Vet 5 OKW lefh being the same as Vet 3 Ost lefh is just completly stupid.

Giving it the same vet 3 stats as the OST version would be a start. There's no good reason to require it to get vet 5 just to receive the same bonuses.

That depends on exp requirements, if they are the same, then there is no issue.

vet5 is a legacy of okw resources penalties. it should ve removed when penalties removed. should thank for okw is still getting vet5.

+you should fight at the long range if you meet 2bars rifles. stg volks are not mean to be fight at only in close range. n plus vet5 stg volks shoots much better in long range fight than close fight.

Thats incorrect, they were officially stated to be 1.5x as powerful in official publications.

It needs some kind of rework, there are a bunch of units that have really inconsistent vet. Most of the core units are fine but stuff like the kubel and sturmtiger are practically impossible to vet all the way up.

Also recrewing OKW support weapons and tanks with another faction only gives you the first 3 vet levels, which is pretty lame now that vet 5 and vet 3 are intended to be comparable power.
