CoH2 verify integrity of game files error!

I was getting Bugsplat error often (not frequently though) so I thought to verify integrity of game files on steam. So after the verification steam showed me 9 error and asked me to download 17GB of files. Is that normal ? 17GB file is way too much. What's the problem ? anyone tell me please how to resolve this issue? Thanks
