I would be happy for the game to be released as online/skirmish only at £25-30 with story missions added periodically as DLC, with occasional new factions being added (then another series of DLC added once a new faction comes out).
That way if i only want to play online, i dont have to buy all the story missions.

Italy is full of possibility- varied battlefields, perhaps the ability to 'flavour' a faction via commanders/ swapped units into Polish, French Moroccan troops, Italian units (both sides).
Also the general vibe of Italy is more gritty with the Allies lacking the overwhelming logistics of Normandy and beyond.
What I'd really like is a campaign where you start a campaign in Egypt with basic Brit faction, gain Sherman's and more support as it progresses to Tunisia where you take the fledgling US army and learn the ropes stemming losses at Kasserine before taking Tunis at which point you switch to Germans making a fighting retreat from Sicily. Then multiplayer kicks off on Italian mainland

I want to flashbang and squadwipe units in buildings with my doctrinal elite delta force squad, hunt down snipers as the Muhajadeen faction, with a Technical w/ 50 cal on top, have loitering attack helicopter callin's, Blackhawk helicopters rapelling callin squads into battle, while the side miniguns are providing cover fire, BMP/Bradly APC's running down lone squads wiping them garrisoned with squads firing out the sides and shit, navy seal squads swimming behind enemy lines(btw, need new swim mechanic Kregasm) 50 cal sniper Kreygasm

You know, I played a lot of games as Brits vs Turks on Arctic Maps in Age of Empires II and never had a problem with that.
So give Afrika Korps people some regular clothing on colder maps, where's the fucking point.

People want sand, palms, desert, ruins, pyramids, Rommel´s Africa Corps Campaign, naval bombardment, sand flying around when artillery shells hit the ground, flak 88 emplacements, fast agile Axis faction based on years 1940-43, matildas, British Montgomery campaign and so on and so forth.
They don´t want cancerplacements, brits can be implemented differently. But people want the African thema

Pacific war. It's the big theater that hasn't been explored by the franchise, and if it's fair to give the Germans the Ostwind(40 built) it's fair to give the Japanese the Chi-Nu(140-160 built.)
The Cold War would also be fun, but it's hard to see how they'd do stuff like air support without it feeling either super cheesy or irrelevant.

I also want Soviet paratroopers, the Battle for the Dnieper, the Soviet offensive in 1944, the Battle for Germany, the Czech Republic and Hungary. Because I want CoH2 fully dedicated to the Eastern Front (according to the developers). But our desires diverge from reality

Remember that this is a videogame. Everything could work if made right, Afrika and Pacific can work. Like someone said starting in africa and then finishing in Italy would be cool. There are some other ideas but this is a scenario vote post, please stick to the thread
