T-34/85 and M4A3 (76) are two of the most produced tanks in WW2, 4 times more produced than the panther/ PZ4, yet relic decides to lock it behind some doctrines(and M4A3 (76) is not even in multiplayer) , I wish to see these beautiful generalist tank came into action without the limitation of commanders for years, and yet OKW pz4 became non-doctrinal just for weeks before ppl starts demanding it.

Please let political correctness aside and Axis armor superiority aside , make T-34/85 non-doctrinal and M4A3 (76) in BOB campaign non-doctrinal!

PS: M4A3 (76) is the tank appear in ardennes assault campaign which is different from E8' as E8 have a noticeable wider track and different suspension compare to other shermans.

I agree from a purely realism perspective but from a gameplay and balance perspective it'd be problematic and extremely unlikely.

Upgrade for their guns in their respective buildings like in the Tank Depot for the American Army in COH? I'd agree with that, in fact I had the same idea, just never really did fully realize it sadly.

This and this.

"What will their commanders have now, then?" is just the start.

Well, that is not a problem. Back in 2013 ostheer commanders had almost no useful abilities and it seemed much healthier than it is now. Commanders that change army too drasticly are hard to ballance and often create a narrow meta.

Of course if these tanks are ever going to be non-doc they need quite a nerfing to them. Just like soviet early game. It's a long way that nobody is probably going to go, but from design perspective it is well possible.

I can see what you mean. I just...can't see it ever happening without fixing like, the entire game at the same time, 'cause that would probably be somewhat close to what's needed for it.

Maybe some day...definitely not near to today.

I'd rather you give M36 the health the Firefly has and leave the Sherman alone, it's fine where it is.

Hold up, those were needed for the OKW, both Soviets and the USF have the T34-76 and M4A3 Sherman, just not the upgraded versions by default.

I know that it seems like lame to be using the 75mm sherman and the t34 76, but adding the t34 85 and E8 would just marginalize the base variant even further.

and the t34 76 is actually pretty decent right now. 75 sherman just need a buff.

Buff? Why? It's probably best medium-medium tank.

You can't have health, penetration, damage, turret and speed.
