Hello people!
I'm a vCoh veteran. I fell in love with that game as soon as it got released. Then I became an admin and replay reviewer in a Spanish community called "mundocoh" which closed some time after the release of ToV. I gradually quitted specially because of things like the British Kangaroo.
Ten years later, I'm older, slower, worse and married with two sons, so I have to admit that I have almost no time to play, but I try to play 1v1 or 2v2 whenever I can (when everybody is sleeping or with a baby sitting on my knee). In addition to this I usually navigate this community and I have to say that this is like a drug... you always see a lot of complains about balance and bugs but you continue playing, surfing the forums and taking a look on twitch.
To conclude, can somebody answer me this question? Is there a better RTS game than this?

yes definately, to quote only some :
Starcraft 2
total war
age of empire 2 & 3
and of course Men of war.
Much better rts that coh 2 are soon coming but i would recommend you to stay away from blitzkrieg & DOW 3.
on the other hand, if you already bought coh 2, just like me, why not play it ? you save money to buy some weed or magic mushroom (every father need it to relax at 100%)

My life story is the same as yours :-). Got married and have two sons and i also can play only when they are sleeping :-).
And to answer your question, IMO there is no other RTS better than COH2. I love this game with all its flaws.

No, CoH2 is easily the best RTS. Welcome back!

I'm aware that COH2 is not the best rts out there and it will never be, but it is for us. And maybe, RTS is a generic concept, because these games (coh2 and coh1) have things that no other RTS game has:
1 Resources system and sector capping system
2 Cover system
3 Squads instead of units (reinforce system too).
4 Doctrines and generals
5 bulletins
For me, and maybe for you, this is a real time tactics game.
And I hope this game gets a final good state of play.

Yes, please don't get swayed by the cynicism of certain members, Coh 2 is a fine game with it's share of delights and problems, and in the end that's kind of why we love it.

Lol, ur like ok its simple question, games better than coh2 are:..... The games u named are nowhere near better than coh2. They may be more popular for some ppl, certain things could be better but overall these game are just different, wouldnt really compare apples and pears. Coh2 had its better days in the past but the actual state of the game is caused by lack of ppl working on that full time.
