Brits counter Barrage is incredibly broken, bugged
If one of your units use smoke into epmty space on map or ur brumbar usess gound attack somewhere on the map Brits arty fires back even if there is no his (or her( units near by or units or his (her) teammate. Miraculously they know what you are doing in fog of war.
So be carefull farting at your base Brits will fire everything they have in that area.
Whereas Ostheer counter barrage works like that
your mortars would fire only in case your units (not even units of your teammate) under attack of enemy artillery pieces.
So in fact this is not even COUNTER barrage

It is broken and we all know it.
But it's most broken on 1v1 maps, like Faymonville where Counter Barrage hit your base.
Once I had a game where guy put Pit and Bofors in the middle. I made ISGs, kept them in base and attacked emplacements.
Counter battery almost killed my 2 trucks in base :/

Its getting adjusted in balance preview. Costs muni and is useless in anything larger than 1v1 maps.

It still shouldn't be attacking Brumbars for just regular shooting, unless the Brumbars has a barrage ability that I've been missing all this time....

It should be removed from the game period. It's literally up half the time. It was a tiny little bullshit nerf because they don't want to stop people from buying the commander.
