Starting in late '43, tank brigades began replacing their T-34 tanks with T-34/85, starting with Guards units who got higher priority. The older T-34 was sent to other units - like cavalry divisions, for example - that had been using older or lighter vehicles for their armoured support, or the T-34 was modified into a specialized variant like a mine-clearer. By late '44 pretty much every tank brigade had a full allotment of the T-34/85.
tl;dr still lots of T-34 tanks in '44 and '45, but not in front-line tank units because they phased them out, so T-34/85 was more commonly seen

Not the T-26. I recommend the KV-85 and it should replace the KV-1 for Counterattack Commander. Instead of Panzer III we can have the Marder back.
