Now I really think it is the Japs, and I don't like it, because the Campaign for the Brits or the combined Italian/German army would be a better solution for this game. I really hope it doesn't end in this, that everyone wants to kill the Japs instead of playing them. And that is not good for Relic.

If it will be Japanese - it will be great.
While I'm all for the Eastern Front. Japanese - is a good alternative.

i dont want kill japs, jap army is better than italy, who want play with italy ?
i have a Q: jap army had tank in WW2 ? or italy ?
but i am thinking about flak 88mm, i dont see flak 88 in new commanders :*(

I'm not against adding the Japanese forces but i'd prefer to have the Italians before moving to the Pacific.
Seriously the European campaign with only Eastern front and Western front really needs Mediterranean.
I have a dream ... that one day, in CoH2, the italian army will be a faction!

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

There are at least 4 options which people can prefer in this case:
1. Playing as the Italians
2. Playing against the Italians
3. Playing as the Japs
4. Playing against the Japs

The Japs had:
1. Type 89B Medium tank. (57mm gun)
2. Type 95 HA-GO Light Tank (37mm gun)
3. Type 97 CHI-HA Medium Tank (57mm gun)
4. Type 97 (2597) Te-ke/Ke-ke Tankette (37mm gun)
5. Type 94/Type 92 Tankette (6.5mm MG)
6. Type 2 KA-MI Amphibious Tank (37mm gun)

Sometimes the size of the gun matters, especially if you look at the guns of the Germans tanks that operated in North Africa, Sicily and Italy, and compare them to these Japanese tanks.

It can be so, or it could also be a April Fools Day joke to find out what the players want next. Then it is something else than a joke.

There has been speculations about new faction (Afrika Korps and Japs) before this April Fools Day, so you can never be sure even if it is a April Fools Day joke.

I feel bad for the people who hope for a japanese faction.

How would the Japanese take out a Pershing?

Besides, how would there be an Italian faction? All of these factions represent a 1944/45 war, not a 1943 war.
