Hey guys,

Today I am running a little test for what will be a small monthly tournament in the future.

Although I can't say too much about what all of this is and the people involved, we are very luckily able to giveaway some hardware prizes today for players and community members.

In the future, prizes awarded to the players will be up for grabs to the community depending on the teams performance, but you will find out more about this new format soon.

As for today, i've arranged to have two great 2v2 teams play against each other on some 2v2 maps outside of the automatch pool. I hope you'll join me for a look at some of the maps less seen in the community and a little bit of a discussion about some of the things happening when ESL Season 1 is over

** UPDATE **

If you would like to have a chance of winning the hardware you will need to be on my stream as the show starts to place your bets ;)

2vs2 tournaments are an excellent idea. I think that it is more action in 2vs2 than in 1vs1.

I agree that 2v2 may hold more answers than 1v1 for a number of reasons.

1. More commander diversity and strategies
2. More players can take part
3. Larger maps and more interesting/frequent engagements
4. People can support team names instead of individuals
5. Team's can be made up of many players that put forward 2v2 teams

The first test was quite successful so thank you for those who showed up. The bigger and more serious things are now official in plan process :)

Stormless, you forgot:
6. People can support their own countrymen (Team P-rkele is an example of this).
7. More action.
