I´d like to see a PIAT buff. Increase the price to 50-60 ammo but let it reliably hit stuff.

And penetrate it.

Two 222s easily took down an aec even before they were buffed. Didn't see too many of them which I anyways found odd.

Massively underused rather than under powered unit in my opinion.

Apparently 2cm autocannon was vastly superior AT weapon then 37mm Stuart main cannon.

considering both the greyhound and the 222 have tinfoil armor, the faster 20mm would win pretty easily.

there's a reason why most IFV nowadays uses auto cannon + tow.

The meta for coh2 is shifting to place more importance on light tanks like the luchs and stuart. At this point the wehr is the only one without a decent light tank to play with. unless the schreck pzgren get changed, the wehr need their own light vehicle to compete.

the 222 do need a higher price to go with the buff. with the hp change it's going to be stronger than the m20.

oh men. the greyhound has nearly 3 times more armour then the 222 and is their fore nearly bulletproof. and the 222 unlike the greyhound is their to kill lv's.

The m20 is still far more versatile with smoke, mines ,free zook and crit repair. and the 222 is meant to be stronger as its purpose is a dedicated LV hunter. which at this point never really made an impact on the allied lv's ever.

Meanwhile SU M3 still cries in a corner. Before WFA, 222 is pretty good, it hardcounter clowncar, hunt sniper and 2 of it can fend off T70, now due to USF and AEC it is meh.

This buff might be a problem. I think that 2 x 222 will counter most allied light vehicles, and this at a cheap price. I think that the price should be adjusted accordingly.

It just received HP buff, m20 still wipes inf who try to get close.

The 222 just keeps pew pewing, qew qewing.

I do not agree. The 222 is a great scout car - "Scout car", not a light tank, or halftrack or whatever, and should not outperform the massively more expensive counter parts. If its performance should be better, then its cost shouldn't just be increased by a little, but significantly. The 222 in the right hands is quite potent already for its price.

222 is very slow on reverse. If you put your units in green cover/building, it almost does nothing. The armor is paper thin and can be damaged by infantry in green cover. It could use a +5 addition in oil after this patch but it isn't a super unit in the early game.

How is it possible there are still people THAT much uninformed?

Reverse speed is EXACTLY THE SAME as forward speed.

Also, unless you'll be using HMG or AT weapons, it will NOT go down to small arms, it will damage it, but it won't kill it.

It might be rubbish in the hands of a noob but good players are deadly with the 222 as it is. I'll wait to see but rather concerned that the now overpriced AEC is simply going to be swamped by exceptionally cheap 222s. Currently 2 take down a pre-nerf AEC for less than half the fuel cost. After the nerf 444s will cost just over a third of an AEC in fuel.

This already happens against good players, it costs the same as a UC at present, the difference being you'll see lots of Vet3 222s and it appears no-one has ever got a UC to Vet3!

Well, methaphysically its possible to go out naked, still doesn't make it a good idea.

320hp unit should not die to small arms only, unless one is exceptionally bad at micro(aka have none).

It will rill over brits so much its not even funny.

Just need british to learn that you can't kamikaze with the aec to finish retreating units...so hard to learn that. You can always bait 222's to mines if they chase AEC. Like every Wehrmach player has to do with 222's before...learn / adapt...

Just killed one with 2 infantry sections and 1 sapper (i don't remember if one had mg42 or not.)... The thing seemed to have problem trying to do its best not to drive over my sappers/infantry in tight spot...

Scoutcars problem is that you cannnot make ANY mistakes with it because it does not have second chance... Or not as AEC and luch usually seems to have with their health at 1%....

The difference between allied light vehicles and OST is so huge that allied light vehicles are actually outperforming the PIV/Ostwind, from an economic perspective at least.

Something had to be done. But even after the buff a 222 won't kill a Stewart or its clone, and building 2 of them is just stupid as they will be stunned and destroyed.

A cheap scout car won't kill a light tank you say?
