World Builder wont start

When I try to open World Builder from .../steamapps/common/Company of Heroes 2/WorldBuilder_CoH_2 it just wont open and crash error pops out: Company of Heroes 2 has stoped working. I tried to open it as administrator but still nothing. My CoH2 works perfectly but I cant run World Builder. Is there a way to fix this?

I have the same issue, all of the fixes that I have found are extremely dated as well and do not work. I am running Windows 7 if that is of any help.

For whatever reason I am unable to extract any of the SGA files in order to get the WB to run.

EDIT:

Turned out I had to dl important updates for windows 7, which turned into about a 14 hour ordeal before I finally had my computer working again, checked the WB and it worked, so it must be using something from the .NET framework and a patch for it to not crash on startup, however to much was done at once for me to accurately pinpoint what the problem was.
