The Host of this Party has Timed Out

I have recently been getting error messages when trying to connect to the Relic servers in Automatch, Public Games and the Create a custom game tab.

The screen says "connecting" for at least 2 minutes, and then the error message "the host of this party timed out" comes up, when I click "Ok" there is then no options to search for a game or pick a faction, everything is blank.

This only started happening a few days ago so I have no idea what is wrong.

EDIT: I have tried to delete the workshop mods and the mod folder, but the error remains.

Maybe a firewall / NAT issue on either end? Some blocked ports or whatever?

Not much to go on. Do you have any anti virus software running? Are you searching for games as a Party?

I've turned off my firewall and I don't have any anti virus.

I'm just trying to search solo, no party or any groups.

I load up the game, I click "Automatch vs Players" and then I get the "connecting" tab come up for around 2 minutes, then is gives me the tab "The host of this party has timed out". Once this has popped up I cannot see my name or any options to search whatsoever.

This has only been happening for a couple of days now so I have no idea what is going on.

1 out of 40 tries to connect works, however if I back out of the automatch search screen it then gives the same error message.

Well pretty much yeah. I check the live games tab and no games show up, I also check public games and no games show up either. I get the same error when I try to create a custom game.

Seems really strange.

Have you tried verifying the game?

Programmer says you timed out connecting to other people in the Match. Do you have anything else eating up your bandwidth?

I don't have anything else eating the bandwidth had a quick check.

This has only started happening since a few days ago, Every now and then it connects but if I then back out of the auto match search screen and try to connect again, I get the same error.

I have indeed. Every time I verify the files I have to download exactly 11.4mb of files, no matter how many times I verify the cache.

Have you tried swapping out your modem or testing your internet connection?
