Is it even worth having this on the commander bar, or should it just be left in the back of my inventory?

it does give you the awesome sturmtiger. The HEAT rounds are good too because OKW has 100 percent muni income

I played a 1v1 against a fellow Bear and he said he had to use sturmtiger to kill my double M1919 riflemen or else he would lose.
And he won :c
it can be good. Maybe as a last-ditch attempt if you need to win.

It's good if you go heavy into t2 with a lusch and a puma. Puma with heat rounds can destroy any allied med tank if micro'd well. Transition into t3 with p4 or jp4

Vehicle detection works great with Sturmtiger.
Heat rounds are amazing for units like Puma and Pz 4.

SturmTiger is good if Opponent doesn't have units that provide extended vision.

So the good counter play is getting Snipers or PathFinders. If USF has no such things it WILL be devastating at some point. Otherwise Sturmtiger will be easy avoded all the time.

I generally get good results with the Strumtiger in 2v2 against low level opponents (I don't play very often). If there's a shot blocker it can get behind, and if I time things right, it usually kills at least one or two enemy tanks and keeps blobs at bay, or even outright annihilates blobs.

Can't speak to its usefulness against l33t players but based on my experience it's a powerful unit for playing against the average player.

Elite Armored is a decent doctrine especially with the 100% income now. Makes some of the useless OKW docs more useful.

It's lulzy in 4v4s

I bought vCoH on January 3rd, 2007.
Still missing the days of vCoH 1.71. It had it's issues, like paks sniping 57s, and the strafe didn't work, but overall, it was probably the most balanced time in CoH history.

OF ruined that. CoH 2 is....balanced in a nasty way. Everyone has an equal stockpile of gamebreaking bullshit. USA is full of early game BS while the OKW doesn't get its BS until late game. It's just a question of how badly you exploit the faction's shit and how quickly, after a patch, you discover the gaping holes of bullshit Relic leaves. But either way, it's all BS. The only "BS" in vCoH that was gamechanging was the fast m8 vs a bunker.
