I actually just started playing this. FPS games are my thing so as soon as I figure out the 10,000 possible combinations of maps and bomb/hostage/we sites, I'll be rocking and rolling.

hard to team up with friends because of UPlay, hackers in ranked one in every 10 games AT LEAST. NO EXAGGERATION - because they don;t use steam and VAC so simple free hack users do not get banned forever... abysmal servers. 316 hrs registered in steam, ACTUAL play time - 170hrs...
but it is a damn good game and i will be playing for a long time.
and they do patch at least once a month.

i think the grind would be too much. they say 12 500 renown per vanilla operators or 15hrs per one....
do you have that much time?i have not worked out how much 600 r6 money (cost of 1 operator) is in real money but if you plan to try out this game for 15 buck and really like it and buy other operators with real money, it would be a loss most probably.
i dont know if there is a way to upgrade to standard edition.

if you ask me dats a damn steal... I only play with 4-5 ops consistently myself, and personally I'm a believer in noobs mastering one thing before jumping into 20 other things.
With the grind: If you still get however much renown basically for free from the situations, in addition to starting with 4 already.... just fuckin go for it. I paid 60 smacks for this game and I'd kill to get it for JUST 15. Even if it meant I had to grind,
Or just shell out a little bit more money if you actually like the game a lot and wanna try an OP really badly.

I will buy starter pack, then register it. Then buy the full game, register that in my uplay too, then refund the fullgame, and play with starter pack with full access of the full game. SeemsGood

isnt the full version like 30 bucks in g2a or gog?
i mean 15 more buck to skip the grind? its not too bad.
and make sure to do the tutorials. they are useful and if you have the full version, you'll be able to unlock most vanilla operators once you finish all of the tutorials.

it works. I have 8 operator unlocked with starter pack(i activated season pass too)
also i have now 1200 white money, and after a match i got 283 gold money, idk if is that good.
It seems it needs 500 gold money to unlock 1 operator?
