about Shock Trooper 1.5 Armor should be change to Passive rec acc ?
1.5 armor it help Shock 33% 0 Taking Damage Form Small arms expect HMG and LMG

Shocks have armor, because they actually had armor, so it makes all the sense for them to use this value instead rec acc.

It simply doesn't look silly when they take a shot to the chest and don't lose hp.

Great idea to alow Soviets to build bunkers (now used as soviet base defence) with the Defensive tactics commanders.

This commander also should have some late call-in, maybe a KV-2, now it's one of the worst commanders.


You should post IL2 Sturmovik single strafe problem in the bug section.

I like somthing, somthing not, but need more love for some soviet docs and units, first of al its defencive tacticks. Imo 45 mm can garnison like raketen in house, why not ?

I do not think it's even possible, but you did it. It's even worse secure mode. Know why?
Because of the mysterious reason, 45 mm KV-8 have very very very low RoF. With your suggestion how often it would shoot? 4 shoot in minute? Or maybe even 5?:romeoMug:

1-Stug-E is 7CP. M10 is a 8CP. Bulldozer and M4C are 10CP. Power level is balanced. It could be an 8CP single tank, but i prefer the idea of "spamming" T34-76s. The whole point is that you have a spammable 275mp/80f/9pop 640hp tank. The T34 is not as bad as having to actually get T4 to get it. In fact, i'm unsure on how effective Armored assault could be made with this (Shock Frontline 2.0)

-KV8 45mm shoots at the same speed as the JPIV or faster than most medium tanks at 5.0s At 50% speed on reload, it would shoot at 7.375s. Similar to M36 or faster than Panther.
Reminder that i double pen at close range and while it's still at crap levels, you don't have to overestimate been able to dish out damage on top of the flamethrower.

-I made a mistake there. If i remove something i'll mention it. Ram should be above Vet adjustments and i've to copy paste secure mode fix.

While i thought about this change, the weight and size of both units is what it makes it different.

That's more of a rework on the current commander roster. I'll rather improve first on the basis of what the commander is meant to be doing rather than making it plain better by adding call in tanks.

I generally like your proposals, but 9cp for double T-34/76 is kinda late, it isn't perform like Wolverine or have useful ability like command PIV to justify CP value. It could be more expensive but have a lower CP to impact shock value, or stay at 9 but have a cheaper price to be more spamable.


You can dish out 4 T34-76s for the same cost that OH could bring out 2 PIVs. That's why i don't think it's a good idea to bring the CP count down nor the cost. The T34-76 is already a cheap tank for been gated at T4. To keep it this way is the reason that i went for a bit later CP count (it could still be 10CP as the M4C) and double call, to keep the fuel cost and even lower the mp cost and popcap.

All for Soviet/US gets a better stock tank, all my heart supports non-doctrinal
T-34/85, with so much change for OKW I think relic might consider this proposal.

the changes to OKW is it a buff or they will be on the same level of strenght overall. Absence of single late game tank in a sov tree is plain absurd.

Just remove penals. And sub them with shocks or guards. I would like to see both of those exelent balanced units on the field. Now its impossible.
Also old non-nerfed PTRS for vet 2 guards maybe as an upgrade.

1/2- One is an assault gun which has equal AT capabilities as the proposed KV8 with a lower health pool and the other is a "pure" AT vehicle which gets it's AI from crushing (which excels). A tank that has 160dmg, 640hp and medium rof will always prove useful to complement a push (or just amass a huge number). There are moments i'll rather have 2 T76s than one 85s (specially against super heavies).

M3: on the same way, if the map and opponents allows it, i'll get a 222 to hunt a Katyusha, i would do the same if i have Guards against a PW.

3- T70 doesn't have a flamethrower and 800hp. Vet1 is a light bonus when talking about performance boost. I'll rather have to buff something slightly than nerf it (see croc).

Maybe even buff su76 with cost increase
