In my last game i witnessed my Ziz hitting a Panther on its "rear armor" when it was firing directly at its frontal armor, how is that even possible?
My place in the ladder is irrelevant as long as I am matched with opponents of the same rank and play all factions (balance at place 1000+ is no different from balance in top 100 if we consider what I said before the brakets) so I don't care about your assertion which is also irrelevant.

Mediums indeed should penetrate the rear armor of most tanks, but the OP story is just unbelievable, since a 2x T34/85 should kill a KT with ease when firing on the rear armour. Else he has some extremely bad RNG.

Both 85s were on the side and the 76 on the back. It's possible that all shots from the 85s were hitting front armor.
