if you have it in the loiter it reks you of course, but outside of it , soviet m5 reks it , don't be stoopeed and put it in the loiter and you are fine

it's the same with p47-strike of USF when it was batshit rekking everything, Anti air outside loiter and gg

Its very effective, but still worse that IL-2.

Just dont call your IL-2 to counter an ostwind, or AA FLACK TRUCK.

IL-2 Will kill any and all armour that cannot escape the region, especially if you have the intelligence to snare it first.

Weiss, if you think it's worse than the IL2 I recommend googling the "what year is it !"meme. That sir is untrue. See I remember the IL2 skill plane and trust me you don't want to know the skill plane. The IL2 got nerfed into OBLIVION because of skill plane.

If you think the IL2 attack is better, doc has sent you back in time to take an Esports almanac from brad or something.

The last time an IL2 attack killed tanks was when it killed everything, regardless of retreat. Loiter is the new skill plane, not quite as bad but still balls to the wall silly.

keep your AA in the base for it to just shoot down enemy loiters. at most theyll get 1 pass with each plane before getting shot down, and thats 200 munitions down the drain for the enemy player. same goes for typhoons and p47s, get AA to hard counter these expensive abilities, its definitely worth it.

ive never saw my ostwind shooting down a plane lol. wont park a 100 fuel unit in base juts for AA purpose

Yeah it is too strong. If anything the switch to 2 planes made it stronger as it is harder to shoot down.

That being said it is one of the only things keeping axis competitive at the moment so it would need to change at the same time as other things to make things even

well i have. ostwinds and centaurs are capable for frontline usage since theyre medium tanks and can sustain survive a pass from any plane. id rate AA units
1)Centaur (very reliable, high health, effective frontline unit)
2)OKW Flak HT (very reliable, 360 turret, low health but fairly cheap, should be kept in base or behind frontlines in late game)
3)USF AAHT (very reliable, not a 360 turret, same cons as OKW flak ht)
4)Ostwind (reliable, high health, effective as frontline unit)
5)222 (unreliable unless massed, 360 turret, low health)

Another thing to note is that almost all ostheer tanks have a pintle MG that can shoot down planes as well.

+1 to the topic. The cheat level is beyond tiger ace. 1 click wins a game killing heavy tank and deccrewing 3 ATGs.

This commander also has a tiger which makes it blatantly OP.

Before you whine, try the ability, but for its intended use, IL-2 works very well on Armour.

JU- Works with lesser effect on both, just try not to sit in the area.

This is such a broken basepin ability if you do it at the right time.

You can trap a SOV/USF player in their base with this and steal all the sectors in the map while he's locked down in HQ sector because JU87s can do that. Then using the munitions you gain from having almost the entire map, proceed to call in another JU87 loiter on his base again.
