First post here. OKW needs help, but Flamethrowers on Volksgrenadiers is a terrible idea. So was Flamethrowers on Riflemen.

LoL, I've bought every commander DLC before UKF and tried it.

I admit there are other unviable commanders.
Then let me put it this way. One of the worst commanders :snfPeter: = The same category of unused commanders.
Anyway, if this doctrine do not get any change, it will be extinct in no time.

Rangers go from vet 0-2 with one grenade.

Flame pios with 45 kills, still vet 2.

GG Lelic.

Time to go back to VCOH, where there was actually balance.

The thing is, that terrible idea of giving flamethrowers to riflemen won't get fixed.

Not at all, the dps drop with one is also too large as it is, with 2 flamers, they may aswell just urinate on their opponents while waiting to be shot.

At least we can keep rangers warm!

Lelic should just give us campfires in non winter maps.
Maybe doctrinal marshmellows?
45 muni same as pgren bundled grenade and as much dmg?
or, make german infantry just drop their guns and pants as soon as they see the first sign of combat?
it was like that IRL right?

I noticed that any early sturmpio squad that runs around with a flammenwerfer starts getting to vet 5 REALLY fast.

I don't know what dark sorcery is behind this(maybe flammenwerfer werfs xp too?) but I guess this is another boni point to the commander until hetzer gets adjusted a bit more(that popcap lol) to perform for its cost.

Sturms with flamers rekt everything they met :D
Flamers make them vet like hell, got to vet 5 in 10 minutes, recoup losses can allow you to play with lots of sturm and volks.

Cool commanders for new strats, i love sturms far more than volks, it might be my favourite commander

Sturmpios can get flamethrower and mine detector at the same time. Volks are also much cheaper than riflemen, and already have incendiary nade.

rangers are completely immune to fire.

I expect them to take damage.

XD Rangers are okish. They have to close in onto you,t that's the spot that you can hurt them really bad.
