Hello, I just finished watching Generation Kill, which was made by the same people who made The Wire which many people and critics think is the best TV series ever.
I am wondering if there is anymore series like Generation Kill out there?
as in
- realistic depiction of war, soldiers
- good cinematography
- good effects
Anymore series like....

There is "The Pacific" which i wasn't able to finish
And "generation war" but it's more like an 3HR movie but you absolutely need to watch it

While it might not be quite what you're looking, there are a whole bunch of episodes from a 1960's American TV series called 'Combat!' on youtube. B&W of course, but the depiction and tone are certainly realistic.
