I really do recommend revealing your player card before you make balance threads because half of the time it's a l2p issue.

This in my honest opinion is one of those times.

well Oorah don't complete negate the german defense, smoke does, i am ok with shock have smoke as it is expansive and non spammable unit, however rifleman can be spammed also their smoke have super long range and huge area effect, so they can spam their smoke nade, one game I was dig in with OKW, the area cover with 3 bunkers 2 HMG, flak HQ, and a pak 43 and a panther, USF rifle blob just rush in and used 3 smoke completely cover their path and run in nade the pak43 to decrew it then attack ground with bazooka and killed flak HQ before smoke is gone, then they rush their 2 jackson to force off my panther. i don't know what i can do to stop rifle blob rush heavy defence position and smoke everything and kill every defense structure to with bazooka attack ground, bunker, HMG, Flak are all anti blob and it was complete useless against rifle blob.

No way to defend from this
Attack ground with flames/tanks... good luck

This game is so much about abusive cheese now

That's when I knew you don't play Wehrmact much.


And thats how I know you dont play Ostheer much when you do not realize that upgraded grenadiers get squad-wiped nonstop mid-late game; even being used in the hands of some of the best players.

Have funsies wastin' that 60 muni over and over, too bad its required in 1v1-2v2 or else youll lose map control.

Perhaps you're bad at keeping squads alive. These units have great durability.

False. Grenadiers are in fact the least durable of all "core" infantry squads by an order of magnitude, evinced by the numbers.

The least member number, the most expensive cost per model, worse vet received accuracy than riflemen/cons/IS.

G43s need love, a received accuracy decrease on retreat would be nice too. People say that the DPS and LMG upgrade makes them scale, but what good is it when your 25% to 50% less effective as soon as a model dies. A 5th member would be cool

They kill before they take damage. They're a quality unit that doesn't cost too much Mp wise. Sov basically have to get expensive elite infantry to counter them.

Make G-43 upgrade worth having, give 3x g43 and leave one kar98k for rifle grenade.
Give grenadiers either better received accuracy bonuses at vet3 or decrease their reinforcement cost.
About the Panzergrens, as they must be storming enemy lines consistently they need *Stormtrooper received accuracy* right off the bat.
And Ostheer T4 should be abolished, carried back to T3 with British kinda upgrade system. Currently, T4 offers nothing much than T3.

The whole point of LMG is that you retain whole DPS on single model while sniping enemy ones. This is the whole reason upgrades are good in comparison to units that relies on spread out damage across the whole squad.

Though I can see what you mean, alot of people will disagree with you on this. Currently Pzgrens are not for storming the enemy lines as okw sturmpios are not for that.
It's a little strange that they aren't. They have automatic rifles. Except for wehrmacht pios, there are no other units in the entire game that carry automatic rifles/smgs while "not being for enemy lines storming" ...

Well, I think you agree with me in that point. Panzergrens do have to close in for maximum effect thus they have to face enemy rounds without cover. Even if you rush a non-vet conscript squad, you'll have them losing one model or maybe all models severely damaged. Their assault rifles are supposed to be the best ingame, yet, sadly they work like smg's. Their long range accuracy must be like penals imo.
Give Panzergrenadiers 0.75 rec. acc. and give them single fire option for their StGs and uh, I am pretty sure this would not turn them into Porngrenadiers when we have lolCommandos, shocktroops and alike.

Stg aint that great, especially the sturmpios stg thats just an mp40 with a different weapon model.

Would be cool if pgrens got an upgrade for their 4x scope to improve mid-long range.

It would be nice to see some kind of long range package but IMHO, I get good use out of the PG as long as I don't try to close to near distance against multiple squads. They have excellent DPS at mid range and so running them into mid range and parking in cover should win you fights against most any non vetted Nom upgraded enemy infantry. Don't use them like shock troops unless you are looking to wipe a low health squad. The assault grenadiers are the ones who need some buffing.

I dont use them like shock troops, in fact I don't use them at all. Everyone knows to keep pgrens in cover at mid range. The fact that pgrens barely come out on top after 1 engagement with heavy damage and 2-3 models when standing in cover against baseline infantry make them not very usable as you've just gotta retreat them soon after.

Especially vs infantry sections. Lol I wouldn't use pgrens unless its a soviet player con spamming. Simply an OK at best infantry unit. Worse veterancy than allied baseline inf makes them bad unless they are vet 3 where they become usable.

Rifles > midrange or close in

They are not meant to yolo rush as Shocks.

The point is the LMG is most of your damage and therefore until the squad dies you're always fairly effective. Losing 1-2 men is irrelevant and you can still win a lot of fights because of how potent the LMG's are.
