OKW is fun to play, challenging, and can deal with pretty much anything with their non doctrinal capabilities. I like to puma spam. Only faction I can always play without doctrine and still win with, of course losing happens as well with this faction.
Ostheer feels like the only faction that wasn't designed after some serious heroin and drinking. Feels straight to the point, gives you everything you need and the commanders actually enrich your play instead of giving you a certain strategy you need to play for it to work.

not to mention they are still currently hogging and hoarding all of the best AT, armor and infantry in-game, the worst part is they want it to stay that way so they can keep curb stomping the allies like it was a piece of cake

It has nothing to do with balance... maybe if you played anything other than USF you would know that.
I prefer germans and i did in Coh1 because as a kid i watched alot of war movies and always loved the cool tanks and uniforms.
The main one that stands out was Kelly's Heroes. That black tiger coming thro the wall
+ until Islamic terrorists the baddies are always cooler.

Axis > Allies - Big tanks also, soviets weren't really the good guys either.
Empire > Rebels - Big walkers
Nod > GDI - Lasers vs mammoth tank/big walkers, I'd say equal
RA Soviet > RA Allies - Completely depends on which RA you mean, if the first one, its mammoth tanks again, if latter, its equal
Azmodian > Elios - completely wrong, I have direct access to that data
Horde > Alliance - true at start, switched with time
