Yes, reduce cost of sturm pios, let OKW spam them even more along with kubel, the game breaker. Also let wehr build MG instantly to make it even harder for allies to get fuel ain 2vs2+ ayyyy

There is a reason why you barely saw high level players get 2 Sturmpio squads, even on close-quarter maps. Sturmpios were not good. If you lost to Sturmpiospam you deserved it.

How do I know? Cuz I did so and with this strat I won 80% of rounds when played OKW

Because they have so much capping power with 1 or 2 sturmpios and 2 kübels, this double kübel strat is simply countered by spreading out your units as USF or getting a M3A1 as soviets which now can be out instantly thanks to the fuel decrease of t1 (50->40).

Funnily relic back then increased t1 fuel price simply to delay the M3, well looks like they don't care for previous balance changes.

Sturmpios are good in present and they will be even better with the change.
I'm realy surprised lel69fgt was the first to notice how important this change will be. I said it a thousand times before, they should get cheaper reinforcement and the reinforcement time must be shorter. Now I get what I want. lel69fgt, you don't know how right you are, but you are alone in your fight and I'm glad because I will make you suffer with my sturms

I'm confused with this change.
Now when you can't maphack Soviet teching decision through fog of war it would be such hit or miss decision for OKW to build or not to build Kubel/Raketen as one of first units.

Especially on 4v4 maps, where M3A1 have much longer range of chasing retreating squad and it would take very long time for raketen to reach frontline.

I think that change was unintentional and they fucked up things again.

Anyway, opinions on this are mixed.

I believe its a HUGE plus as it opens soviets doors to new way of combined arms, allows fore light vehicle play and allows for use of more varied doctrines.

And while T34 is still piece of shit, you will not be able to outspam your opponents with it, making strength in numbers and if that won't work, you can transition into SU-85 without problems.

Current soviet teching is piece of shit, new one is a huge improvement and while you'll have to relearn soviets, the reliance on doctrines when it comes to armor have diminished now and you have much more choice for the doctrines that doesn't have "shock" or "guard" in the names.

I had a shitload of fun while playing with new possible soviet strats during alpha and I believe every non "forever a noob" player will see it as a HUGE improvement.

Thanks for the analysis.
I also am looking forward to see how this will work and i believe that it is a good change. But i was expecting whining about the fuel cost :D

And before i meant that others as well can answer. I didn't wont you to feel obligated to answer :)

So no grens with faust to shoot clown cars, no mortar, no pak gun, no panzergrens? This means harder map controll(as well harder fuel point controll).

It has 82HP, so previously it could survive 2x40=80dmg shots, now - 3x27=81dmg
