The MG42 should also be vetting up much faster now that it is doing more damage.

No, they are not, you're just clueless.
Rate of fire, suppression value and burst duration affect suppression, not damage.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

1) no counter to late game 2x sniper build (since it will be protected/supported
2) still no counter to Tiger with Pak support
3) Lmg grens still beat rifles despite costing less manpower/munitions
4) No USF super heavy tank
5) MG42 is now great vs USF
The main issue with this MU is you simply cannot defeat axis late game super heavy tanks, and once 2 tigers hit field you are fracked. The End.

There is no recording in all WW2 history of a piat actually knocking off a vehicle. Yes, it was THAT bad.

My point is u can lock down a usf player untill u get a scout car.
Forcing the usf player to tech to m20 to counter ur mg's
Mg42 no joke suppresse in one burst. I have to constamtly instant retreat

Unlikely. Unless I am very mistaken, MG42 has the exact same suppression value as in the last patch, meaning, if you run into it at short range&no cover, you will get suppressed on the first burst, otherwise, its gonna need at least 2. All it did receive, in practical terms, was a long range damage buff. Because the long range damage output was exactly its problem ...

Care to post a tournamnet replay of the last time a tiger ace was used? No even that it won, just used.

People are saying the Jackson still does 240 damage with HVAP. Haven't had a chance to try it myself though

Since the doctrine is banned from any serious tournament play you might find that difficult.

ostheer seems competitive with usf now. I am not a 1v1 player, but i think these mg42 changes and sniper changes will help greatly. The m42 has a lot more accuracy now at long range. This means more bullets will hit = more suppression. My units get suppressed on the first burst now (or as soon as i run into the arc).
Mg42 combined with sniper is quite deadly now. The sniper lives longer. Don't forget that the sniper has a nice vet ability that allows it to stun and kill multiple entities.

The sniper has made Ost early game better, but now that the Jackson has a much higher chance to penetrate the Panther there really isn't any reason to go T4 anymore when facing USF.
Iv found the Elefant to be great for late game. Tiger just isn't up to snuff now that everyone is making Jacksons with a Soviet player mark targeting.
