STUG-E is not OP, for a unit that was a (mostly undeserved) joke for much of it's existence it's now actually useful.

If there is any issue it is with infantry clumping not the STUG-E itself

As for CAS:

People know my thoughts on it, yes?

http://www.coh2.org/guides/30967/close-air-support-guide

Right now we have been seeing a lot of it, because it's new for a lot of people so they want to try it and more allied players are having to play against it

In a while it will become less popular and Allied players will have adapted as best they can

When that happens, I will be prepared to see if it is OP or not, but right now it is too early to say

I am so going to use that argument one day when SU-76 will get overbuffed and will start murdering everything in its range. :foreveralone:

Stug-e was OP before the infantry clumping...

As for CAS, it can be very powerful...but atleast it requires more skill than the current meta plays :P

For now; If Ost player can use it well he deserves to have the upper hand.

StuG-E is somewhat OP. While admittedly fragile, it still offers too much impact for too little cost, especially since it has insane burst damage and can kill infantry at long range even when it is immediately retreating, leaving no counterplay. Fundamentally similar mechanics to the ISU actually.

CAS on the other hand, while annoying, and competitive, is hardly OP. Its best ability is actually redistribute resources. Each and any of the planes can be fairly easily dodged.

Had some fun with CAS, it is like, bambambam, another Scott, bam another IS2, bambambam another Kat. No wonder why some low level players like Qu33n whine against it. :foreveralone:

Best with using a panzer flanking a tank, blocking his reverse retreat, and take the Stuka strafe directly, old COH1 skill of P47 bombing run panzer hunting is back.

Likely a common sense.
If you aren't one army hero and actually were on receiving side of STUG-E you wouldn't even question the possibility of it getting a nerf.

Ost is unquestionably the weakest faction in the game which needs a serious change/buff, and yet you allies fanboys want its units to be nerfed!!!

I really don't understand you. It wouldn't be even enjoyable to play against a faction like that!

There might be other units in the game which can get nerfed, but stug-E is probably in the bottom of that list

I'd love the SU-76 to not be pudding.

As for the STUG-E as something that fights infantry, doesn't have a turret and doesn't suppress it is way less dangerous than either flak half track

I think the broader issue is that Usf is a bit to strong in respect to countering opposition infantry, whilst being a little weak at countering armour mid to late game.
At guns should hard counter the stug e no doubt but seems to be in a shit tier.

CAS and Mechanised depend heavily on packs to survive to late game which makes it all a bit repetitive.

Would it be feasible to reduce usf T2 fuel cost and buffing the at gun's health so that it does't get decrewd so easily. Shermans could also do with a health increase to be more survivable against at guns and straife, but it needs a bit of a nerf to its anti-infantry abilities along with the ability to crush infantry. Shermans often 1 or 2 shot any infantry that gets near it.

Stug e could perhaps do with a cost increase and Cas abilities could probably do with an increase in cool down times as well as an increase in cost but I think that could apply to all faction offmap abilities..

The game really needs a broad range of buffs and nerfs to multiple units across all factions. Teching also needs seriously adjustment for all factions if more units are to become viable.

In teamgames they are just as weak with quite a few units that provide no impact. But they provide the okw a rather huge economical buff. But technically its the okw winning the games for the ostheer.

Wehrmacht is fine in team games, make sure to select the right commander for the job.

Double Ost is also weak, Tripple Ost ist also weak & quadruple Ost is weak.

Just because you need OKW in order to have success in team games as Ostheer doesn't make it ok.

Everything Ostheer had and was good was nerfed over the time because of endless tears.

Also, to be fair, think this way that how Ost player is supposed to counter hordes of rifles/paras with lmg/BAR etc (not to mention the early AA truck/m20 support) when mg42 is not very useful against such blobs. CAS and StugE provides few options for the Ost player to stay in the game

That use arguments drag queen. nearly 95% of all the idiotic calls for okw nerfs is because the over the top economy the ost heer provides to the okw. but besides that the ost has nothing a weakest early game with even a below average late game.

Ur soo wrong.

Ost has soo many items at their disposal on 2's

Their late game is far from "weak". given they can field heavies and use Stuka CAS

Ost also doesn't bleed nearly as much as in 1v1's

I still would love to see 5 man grens

but, they are not weak in 2's

Double OST is way stronger than double US.

in 2's it goes ( If both partners are playing the same faction )

sovietssoviets > okwokw > ostheerostheer > usfusf

The only reason you guys are complaining is because Soviets or United States Forces dont have a commander as good looking as the close air support commander

Look at that handsome face

Such a great quantity of bias needed to start such a thread. Ostheer doesn't have anything that can be called OP currently, but alot of things that can be easilly called UP.
