... denying access to all kind of vehicles this shitty faction (USF) has. That's too much firepower for a mere 120 Muni investment. One panzershreck should be good enough to deal with a bunch of glass canons, no? Storms are the perfect example of an AT-On-Foot unit.

I don't understand the point your trying to make. Are you saying they're op with two schreck because early schrecks delay lmgs.

PzGrens are not fine but not because of OPness. Thery are not fine because they are 4-man, expesinve squad with very expensive upgrade that is very often one-shotted by mortar, sherman, IS, ISU etc.
To huge investment is such squishy squad.

Make them cost 400 but give them 5th man.

Much later? You can build tier 2 after 5 min.

Grens with lmg are now better, but we see after next patch.(LMG is now magical weapon across all sides)
I can imagine 3-4 squads PzG (squad with one shreck) as a universal blob versus all.

In CoH1 you can purchase for PzG lmg or/and PzSchreck. Much better, then now. <444>_<444>

120 Munitions on a expensive squad is a big investment, for a squad that often gets wiped in their line of duty.

Funny thing is, PGs would be somewhat spammable, if they only had one Schreck as upgrade.

Oh, sorry. I play team games. From my perspective capping is not problem. You synergy with another mates and you can use builds, which in 1v1 are not so effective.

In 1v1 your proposal can work, but total destroy team game ballance (how now make Volks with shrecks).

I'm quite sure giving them only one schreck would only make you hate them more, since they would maintain a decent AI value and would be more tempting to spam.

yeah but then they're not pgrens any more. that's a hell of a lot more involved than just changing the schreck upgrade from 1 to 2 and 120 to 60 or 90 mun.

They are good at forcing off armor that rushes you, but they can still be kited and only really shine in combined assaults. Its a risky investment because you're often strapped for muni vs americans so the lack of lmg42s will hurt you the longer you wait.

They are far to squishy, I normally don't even give them shreks any more because they are pretty good at killing enemy infantry. Of course I never normally get more than 1 or 2.

Really it all comes down to it the fact since the giant ramp up in DPS and Indirect fire 4 man squads are no longer as viable as they used to be with the current bunching and movement mechanics.

Oh please, Panzergrenadiers are probably one of the few units in this game that work as intended. You have a dedicated AI squad and you can upgrade it with 120 munitions to make it a dedicated AT squad, sacrificing pretty much all AI capabilites. Actually more units should be like that, instead of Allrounders.
