General Tips for US Forces on 2V2 Games

Hey guys,

I've read some posts regarding strategies that should be used when playing the US Forces but I feel like some of them are viable in 1v1 matches. I don't know much about this as I've just started playing US Forces with a friend in 2v2 matches and we feel that in comparison to the soviets, the US troops are very dependent on their abilities and very micro-intensive. I am an average player, sometimes I micro very well other times I fail miserably. So despite having to micro my troops well which I know is essential with every army, are there some general guidelines that should be mentioned when playing double US vs any combination of Axis? We have tried a lot of things and experimented with all sorts of builds which sometimes work but other times fail against same kind of play from Axis players.

I did a cast yesterday with L E M O N, who is currently #1 with US 2v2 randoms, and got him to give up a bunch of good tips:
