Imo this is the biggest gameplay problem atm,squads bunching up in cover or AOE explosive attacks doing too much dmg.Result is frequent one shotted squads which is very disturbing ,especially when vetted.
Primary culprits -
Soviet Mines.
Grenades
Rifle grenade
Heavy tanks(is-2,isu,tiger,king tiger)
Shermans(HE),Easy eight.
120 mm mortar.
Other mortars too occasionally.
tHis is seriously affecting cover play.I hope relic does something soon about this.Thanks.
Cover and squad getting one shotted.

There is a partial fix by @Stafkeh as a mod. It appears that he could change the squad formation while on the move, without ruining the cover system. He just changed the infantry scaling. Looks solid, I hope relic checks this out
