Totally agree man, but the most people in this forum playing 4vs4 or just against AI and give a fuck about balance.

the saddest thing is that Relic is going to support this Casual Gamer with new commander etc. even if the balance get worse.


there were a few good ones. like partisan one. genuinely interesting, genuinely diversifying possible strats.

i wish they are gonna put new commanders on the line. maybe sov commander about no retreating and commissar and german one with urban assault grens(?).

eh what do i know. im just a 4v4 scrub.

Don't you guys already realize that any new MP content will potentially just screw up the balance even more?


By intentionally losing a contest we aren't shielding the game from new multiplayer content. Do you think relic would scrap content just because they couldn't give it away for free as a reward?

It will either be:

Commanders that already exist - which people who already have them will complain about that

Or

New Commanders - in which case the people who don't get the chance to get the old commanders will complain, the people who weren't online to get these will complain and the people who don't want new commanders full stop will complain


I am also pretty certain that some people will complain no matter what

I would prefer a higher drop rate on War Spoils or free skins to new commanders. Or if it is a new commander that is only usable against AI, that would be tolerable. Of course, it's not like anyone has any actual information on this.

IF they add new commanders then I wish they add OKW and USF commanders. There are already far more commanders for Ostheer and Soviets to choose from, whereas choice for OKW and USF is rather limited.

Of course, they could also just try to balance the great amount of weak commanders that already exist, that would also lead to more practical choices.

The PTRS's are fine as they are. Whenever i'm up against Guard Infantry, I always have to be careful with my vehicles or the Guards will completely destroy them. Good range, good damage and fairly cheap; if anything, the PTRS should nerfed since it's ridiculously good for the price. Even in the hands of Conscripts, the PTRS's are extremely potent.
