I think COH2 made a good effort in recording actual weapons and how they sound, without overly "enhancing" them to cinematic levels. Now, regarding the voice-overs, whoever cast those actors needs to be fired.

What's wrong with the voices? Is it because there are no macho hero army men like CoH1's VA?

CoH1's voices have a charm, but I prefer CoH2's because the vocals are more down to earth.

I think the weapon effects are good. Of course they dont have the same punch and realism as for example battlefield, but its not supposed to sound like youre in the middle of it your self.
