No, buying it gets you nothing, but there might be some new multiplayer stuff in the patch it comes out in.

I guess there will be at least one new commander for both WFA factions coming with the expansion. We will see how it pans out, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was the case (they won't be included in the price tag though, multiplayer players will have to buy them separately).
