So, the dropper guy matched me and dropped...so I confronted in chat.

Unfortunately I got a game before I could cap the rest of the convo and see his reply where I pretty much called him a neckbeard with no life, and that masterbates to stats on a 6 year old game's leaderboard that no one else but him cares about.

Will relic even care to change this new free win for dropping crap? Will sending replays of these guys matter?
I feel dirty and ashamed to even be associated with the game now. -Esky

They've banned a few guys who were doing it already. Hopefully after the CoH2 beta closes we'll see some updates to address the problems.

It's just the hassle of it that bugs me the most...waiting 15-20 minutes for a game sometimes, just to have it dropped on start, and then have to wait all over again is annoying, and plus with new server a clean leaderboard was at hand..until people noticed any dropped game is a win for both parties. How stupid...why not just void the game entirely? Now there are literally a dozen or more people doing this now that word has spread that all you have to do is drop to get a win.

i once dropped a game (warnings.log showed that the steam server that i was connected to decided to shut down, duh) and i got no stats for it, neither did my opponent

wtf is this !? drophackers get autowin ? :crazy: why why why did they remove the trust rating thingy ?

Surly there must be some place you can report these obvious "50 streak no name a-holes" ?
Then relic/steam could easily reset them to "0" again, that should stop what ever "spark of life" this muhahaha has :banned: ...

just imagen when the real bulk of drophackers moves from old coh1 :faint:

All they have to do is reset the leaderboards again. Once they have a new match arbitration system in place.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they'll reset the leaderboard once arbitration is up and running again :)

So, the steam version is not cheat protected yet? Or will it never be?.. I thought there was a letter released when CoH was transferred to SEGA, when CoH is running on Steamworks the game will be VAC secured. But now it seems you can also hack when there is VAC protection? I hope this is just because the steam version is in development? They goanna reset leaderboards when the steam version is out of the "test phase"?

This MUHAHAHA is not banned.. And who is that NoSpeak guy? Probaly another hacker?..
And what is the point of resetting someone his stats to 0? Better just ban the shit for ever :)

They said that features will be added post server change. For a small team like Relic, a BETA as well as server change can be a lot to work with at the same time. We'll just have to wait a bit to get the support working again. :)

I'm so happy with having the game on steam too, so nice to minimize the different services/accounts you have to use.
No spreading out, no fancy stuff, just smash through. Let's see how those degenerate sophisticates handle a healthy dose of pure unreasoning violence.

Yea, there's actually only 2 confirmed droppers on the board that I know for sure. A third with reasonable suspicion.. The rest I've played, or seen, play, without hearing of dropping. Pepsi looks like a hacker after the last couple day's run for sure, but he's just pr0 like that.
