Relic! Pershing=$$$$$
id pay soo much for this commander. USF feels incomplete without it. Every other faction get a heavy unit of some sort. Yet, usf cant just have one? ONE?!?!

There is no recording in all WW2 history of a piat actually knocking off a vehicle. Yes, it was THAT bad.

You do realize USF army are based on battle of bulge?
You do realize pershing arrived to Europe months after that, therefore its unrealistic to ask for it?

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

It may be the most requested heavy tank, but there was also a poll thread a while ago (ugh can't find it) about whether people wanted it in the game or not and it was something like 75% who said no (including me.)
It's part of the fundamental u.s. faction design to not have heavy tanks and I like it.
Making a new thread won't change that.

I only agree on something to fill the heavy tank skin - slot. ^^
Maybe a Sherman Jumbo.
Late game sucks for USF. But I think that could be fixed by adding some non doctrinal reliable medium tanks, like Sherman 76mm and Hellcats.

I find that the comments against the pershing are become less relevant..

I swear to the rng gods. if relic dares to add another BORING SHERMAN VARIANT. im uninstalling at once.
besides, the ez8 is more advanced than the jumbo.

I take it u are really enjoying ur matchmaking minigame? Adding it is GOOD. more peeps will play usf, less wait times, better games.

I'd prefer a Jumbo with abilities meant to either limit incoming damage(Smoke bombs along with maybe a WP shell that locks a target tank out of weapons and sight?) and the ability to tank damage with high armour and good HP. Sure it won't face other heavies effectively, but it would give the US one thing they sorely lack, a meatshield/damage sponge.

The poll you are refering to has been deleted.
Actually the last time I saw the results it was more like 51% of no.
Statistically speaking the poll was unsatisfactory, no real conclusion could be taken from it (unfortunately).
This is why I discontinued it...
