Btw. there is already a HD skim mod for free, so why do you want to pay money?


Why not?
The game will soon be dead and the servers will be shut down within a couple of years from now if something isn't done.
This game is far too superior to other games to be shut down.

CoH1 lacks advertising and a new game release will do just that, the game is full of addiction to keep players on it and easily get a player base like starcraft or Dota etc.. But it wont, if players do not know or see much in the game at first reaction. They will just think meh its a crappy old RTS that nobody plays. It would be like that with AOE2 if it wasn't for their re mastered version

I enjoy playing coh and want it alive like you do aswell. Another expansion or well supported mod would just do that, but i think relic is not capable of creating what we want.

We've all seen in COH2 what the Relic of today can do.

That's why I think they need to keep their current team on their COH2 platform and get a completely different team in to do the HD (if they ever did) - the new teams scope would be cosmetic in nature and the game mechanics left unchanged, with the exception of say a patch that was 99% based of Tommy's.

Its like a Porsche 911 - its a classic design that doesn't need much revision - you don't see wild revisions just for the sake of making them - that's where COH2 failed.

i think the "beta" wasn't advertised enough ? When i launched the beta and tried to get a game in automatch, there were 0 players.

Had the same problem. A beta at this stage without any advertisement is pointless.


Account Creation - like in CoH2


I don´t get the create an account stuff. Seems to have no use besides giving Relic the opportunity to sell some personal data? The game still has tons of issues and you invest time into this. lel

Afaik the main purpose of this patch was to move coh to battle servers (coh2 servers, hence the account thingy). Relic announced it month ago.

I got 3 times a Level 1 or 2 all my last games and I am Level9

thx for great new matchmaking Relic and Noun, u do a superb Job

btw im level7 now but who the fuck cares on a dead game

Another strange idea was to untick 1v1 up to 4v4. Who would want to search for a 1v1 or 4v4 at the same time? That comes out of the mind of somebody, who is used to rank up by loosing games...

Here a good idea:
Instead untick which factions you dont want to play against, or untick which faction you dont want to play yourself (maximum of 2), then going for random auto.

not sure what do you mean, but I like to be able to search at the same time for 1v1, 2v2 and 4v4 for example.
