Apparently the recon commander has access to a modern 155 MM 5M CEP artillery piece capable of MRSI.

Modern artillery would only be so proud to pull this off!

Yea, mechanized.

None of those Katyusha rockets did any damage, that was solely the 155mm off map.

I had the same thing happen to me. 2v2 ost + okw versus soviet + american. I'm playing OKW and we dominate the whole game, knowing that the soviet player is going isu (multiple isu bulletins, went guards) so I save for the Jag, thinking gg wp you just played into my hands. Nope, after 3 minutes on the field, saving all of my fuel for the last ~15 minutes, I am hit by the first barrage of this ability, stunned, and then promptly 100-0'd. No joke, 100% of the hp, completely erased during the duration of the stun. Absolutely no counter play. Pissed me off so bad I quit playing for the rest of the day :\

Like wooof said, shits broke.

Correct me if im am wrong but this barrage takes forever to come down , so i am not convinced that it is broken. In the case of the vid, if the KT was not stunned that would never happend.

Its not like they have anything else to kill that kind of armor.

And its not like arty call-ins arrive instantly either.

While JT isn't exactly a speed demon, the smoke gave enough of warning to move it away.

Agree, even though it seems pretty overpowered , it isnt very smart to just keep your king in the bombing zome!

No it is not fine. Only 180 munitions and yet it can erase any OST/OKW heavy tank or OKW truck in one volley.

Takes forever to come down (no it doesn't)? How is an OKW player supposed to protect their deployed truck(s) that cannot move? You can't even hide in your base-zone since the doctrine comes with a recon run. Shit is beyond broke.

Exactly. Main problem is that arty killing OKW buildings in 1 barrage....

Agreed that smoke did give awarning but check the video again, the KT starts moving back instantly.

There's no point in a warning if there's no time to react.

So you're saying a doctrine which literally has nothing else going for it apart from refunding the cost of bought tanks has artillery that is overpowered?

If you nerf this, what does the doctrine have left to counter Heavy Axis armour?

Even Recon Run is redundant with the major's recon ability.

There's no point in a warning if there's no time to react.

The crew was stunned. It was very clever play and good use of stunning. Rarely do you see a display of such skill.

Best to bring it in line with the precision bombing strike in terms of cost-efficiency and damage. Right now it overshadows it in every aspect.

How about jackson? Thats like one of the best tank destroyers and a core unit? Learn to play your faction...

Thats because precision bombing run is a horrible waste of ammo that will hit its target only if opponent turns off his screen for 30 sec. Its not really worth the cost given the time it takes to actually hit stuff.

No it was not. The Katyusha barrage did nothing to the JagdTiger. The stun icon does not appear until the first artillery shell lands.

What will players using this doctrine do versus heavy armor? The same thing as every other US player. Jacksons and vetted AT guns.
