The Kampfgruppe Müller was on the defensive, having the night before attempted an attack that did not succeed. They now found themselves under repeated and determined attacks as the Americans under Patton sought to snuff them out.
As the Americans were moving off the beaches of Normandy, they quickly found themselves under attack by elements of the 21st Panzer Division, determined to drive them back into the sea !

Somewhere in eastern Poland the Hermann Goering Fallschirm Panzer Division was fighting a desperate rear guard action as the soviets were agressively pushing towards Warsaw. Spotting an opportunity though, they go on the offensive hoping to buy time to fall back in a more orderly fashion.

They'd fought off the 2nd SS Panzer Division the other day and the men of the 52nd Infantry Division were exhausted. But rest was not to be theirs as the 9th Panzer Division gave it a go

Held up after supply problems, the 11th SS Panzergrenadier Division was late to join in the battle and instead ending up covering the retreat as 5th SS Panzer Korps began pulling back.

Another day, another attempt at seizing Budapest. The men of the Feldhernhalle Panzergrenadier Division had been run ragged in the last week. Repelling assaults and retaking lost neighbours. And now they had to do it all over again today.

During the night the 3rd Panzer Division had been encircled. The infantry divisions covering it's flanked overwhelmed and crushed. Now they had to fight through what was once their lines in the hopes of getting back to safety. The alternative, not being good.

In an attempt to outmaneuvre the americans the 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division was tasked with an assault to fix the US forces in place while the 1st and 2nd Panzer divisions enacted a larger strategic flank meant to encircle a sizable American force.
The 709th had been pushed off the beaches, but having spent the next few days regrouping prepared for a larger counter-attack and threw themselves at the Americans.

It was the third day and the Belorussian front was grinding against Army Group North. The Grossdeutschland Panzer Division had been released for a local attack to straighten out the front line and free up men for future fighting. Opposing it was the 6th Guards Mechanized Corps.

The tracks were frozen.. Again! Heinz Kicked at the panzer and instantly regretted "Scheisse, mein foot ! Damn winter !" Leutnant Meyer could only shake his head and get back to work trying to heat the panzer up again.

On The horizon the columns of british armour were obvious, huge clouds of dust as they advanced down dirt roads towards the german lines. They'd never see it coming. Wilhelm ordered his StuGs to fire and with the first volley several british tanks blew up. Quickly ordering his platoon to fall back. This would set the pattern for the days fighting.

The order was to pull out of the city. But the 3rd Panzergrenadier Division was being constantly harassed by the soviets. A fresh attempt was made in the morning. But would the russians cease to hound them ?

Shells were flying above, bullets whizzing. Sergeant Peters looked around to see most of his squad dead or cowering behind cover. The Kraut assault was in full swing, and there weren't your ordinary krauts, but Elite Krauts of the 2nd SS Panzer Division, god damnit! He should have listened to his mother and joined the navy.

Detached from it's parent decision, the kampfgruppe Müller was tasked with delaying the 1st Armoured division as it attempted a gap in the siegfried line.

Dispatched to halt an advance of the 15th Motorised Rifle division. The men of the Panzerfusilier Battalion quickly duck in around a series of villages and prepared for the soviet assault.

"Confirmed Kill. T34 is down" Helmut was pleased, the ambush on the Russian tank column was going well so far. His Jagdpanzers had been well situated and ready thanks to the scouts. Nothing could go wrong ! Or so he thought until out of nowhere Russian tanks appeared on his flank.

The road to Nijmegen was blocked by a detachment from the 10th SS Panzer Division. And the Guards Armoured Division was there to clear it up again.

It was the second day of Operation Konrad and it was already running into numerous problems. The 5th SS Panzer division had been stalled by numerous obstacles, and now found itself faced with another one.

As the left flank was crumbling the 15th Panzergrenadier Division was rushed in to reinforce it until additional infantry divisions could be brought in.
