The read was filled with the burning wrecks of trucks and Panzers. The Americans had caught them out in the open and left the convoy decimated. And it left them in a bad spot as the Infantry and tanks of the Americans were sharply following on the air attack.

The confines of the Panther were suffocating. Even with all the aids. he still had a difficult time getting a full grasp of the battlefield. And with Soviet snipers about he couldn't pop his head out unless he wanted it popped off. "T34 at 11 o'clock her Leutnant" "Load Armour Piercing !"

He never got over the smell of a burning tank. The stench of burning steel, oil and flesh. It was terrible stuff, and even worse to imagine. Thank god he never had to be in one of those things.

The 4th Infantry Division was scattered all over the front with the different regiments barely able to support each other. And then the 2nd Panzer Division struck. Not that it was much better. The panzers running on fumes. It was going to be a close call for either army.
And an update on the balance Preview mod.

hey'd just been put into the line to replace the previous unit, only to discover that for whatever blasted reasons they had not prepared any defences. No bunkers, no trenches. No nothing. Curse the previous commanders incompetence ! Major General Müller was furious ! He immediately set about doing what he could before the russians attacked.

Another fun fact about the M5 Half-Track is it had rounded corners. The model used in CoH2 is just the M3 from CoH1 with a new nametag!
Also watching him throw away 2 Vet 3 tanks for nothing was one of the most painful things I've ever seen. Had he kept them, this match would have been a few minutes shorter.

The assault had to be pushed back by several hours as the 3rd Company got delayed by allied Fighter bombers and had to go to ground in a forest until they passed by. Stürmbannführer Wolf was starting to get very anxious about this attack. He just wanted to be able to attack as fast as possible before anything more went wrong.

They had been supplying for the last few days for the next big push against the Krauts. Up ahead was initial outposts of a larger German defensive line. After a sizable artillery barrage they'd push in and push out the Krauts. Easy as could be.
