The 82nd Volksgrenadier Division. Barely put together a month ago was thrown into the heat of battle as the frontline was buckling under the pressure of the soviet armies.
Sent to halt the advance of the 14th Tank Corps. The odds were against them.
And another Propagandacast addendum. This time looking at the wehrmacht Blitzkrieg and how i think we could do better than that.

On to the Meuse ! The 2nd Panzer Division continues down narrow roads.
Only to find the path blocked by the 9th Infantry Division. Determined to not let them pass, no matter the cost.

The 102nd Infanterie Division had already weathered several assaults and Replacements and reinforcements were finally being brought up.
But on the other side the Americans were gearing up for heavier warfare as the 1st Armoured Division was moved in to finish the job.

The assault had failed and the 12th SS Panzer Division was falling back towards friendly lines.
But the Guards Armoured was in hot pursuit and had no intent of letting it's quarry go

As the fourth battle of Kharkov ends and the German army pulls back. The 14th Panzer Division finds itself in a precarious situation. Detaching it's Panzerpioneer Battalion to sort out the problem as the Soviet warmachine prepares to launch another assault to throw back the fascists.

Progress had stalled during the offensive of the 5th Guards Army and the Germans sensed an opportunity to push back.
The 3rd SS was tasked with leading the counter-attack against a Soviet held village. The 76th Rifle Division being stationed there. But ready to resist the German Attackers

The advance of the soviet 2nd Guards mechanized Corps had been halted at Debrecen for a time. Sensing an opportunity to push them back further. OKW had given the order for the Panzergrenadier Division to launch an attack and destroy the Bolsheviks.

With the 10th SS Panzer Division threatening the flank of 30th Corps. The 7th Armoured division was ordered to attack and destroy them before they became a problem.
Priority air support had been made available for the attack along with heavy armour.
But the Germans had a few tricks of their own.

In an attempt to halt the American advance through France towards Germany the 104th Panzer Brigade was ordered to launch an assault at the vanguard of the 2nd Armoured Division in the hopes of blunting the advance and buying more time for the defences of germany to be strenghtened.

he 3rd Tank Army was in complete chaos. A German attack had left a full tank Corps in shambles and already they were following through with additional attacks.
The 210th Rifle Division was immediately ordered to take up positions by a small village and hold off the Kampfgruppe Müller which was making it's way forward. No matter the cost.
And a propagandacast lehr of the more experimental kind as i try off a Tactical Highlight to show one can conduct an attack.

The 4th Armoured has dislodged the 85th Infanterie Division and was pushing towards 5th Armee Headquarters. The only obstacle in the way was the 111th Panzer Brigade, recently activated.
Would they hold back the US troops ? Or would they be pushed aside ?

Artillery rained down and the skies were alive with aircraft as the 2nd Panzer Division pulled back towards safer positions.
The 3rd Armoured Division was in hot pursuit of the Germans and had no intention of letting them go no matter the cost.
Pinning them down by a small crossroads, a bloody battle was about to ensue.

As part of the Minsk Offensive the 4th mechanized corps was making good ground against the germans having shattered the 152nd Infanterie division already. It was rapidly advancing towards Minsk with no enemy in sight.
But rushing to halt them was the Grossdeutschland Panzer Division.

Assembled from elements of the 21st Panzer Division and the 15th Panzergrenadier Division. The kamfpgruppe meyer had been tasked with holding a strategically vital crossroads until the 2nd ss Panzer Corps could pass through.
But 1st Armoured Division had orders to take it and push out the Krauts.

A burning T34 exploded in the distance as Sergeant Fritz ordered the rest of the squad to shift positions and prepare for the next attack. The Feldhernhalle had been holding the position for days and no reinforcements were in sight despite having been promised.
Not too far off the 202nd Rifle Division was brought up to crush the Panzergrenadiers.

A surprise morning assault from the 12th SS Panzer Division caught the Guards Armoured division off guard, pushing back a full battalion of Infantry until reinforcements could be brought up to halt them. And so a bloody melee ensued.

2nd Company was gone and 3rd was barely operational. Major Bauer was on edge as the Soviets launched another assault and Regimental command couldn't provide any support. Division was silent and he hadn't even considered Corps. The Situation was dire, but a retreat was out of the question. So all he could do was dig in and hope for help.
nd my thoughts on the possibility of a third axis faction and how it could look.
Hint : NOT DAK.

A Swift push by the 21st Panzer Division suddenly found itself with more gains than initially expected and so found itself reinforced as it pushed against the 5th Infantry Division. Itself the recipient of reinforcements as Bradley steered more tanks and men towards it to stem the German attack,
