A breach somewhere east of Narva. The 112th Rifle Corps had managed it and III SS Corps reacted by dispatching the 11th SS Panzergrenadier Division to counter the move and halt them.
But could they stop the raging soviet warmachine in its tracks ?
And for todays things i'd like to see: I talk about Tank crews and how these could be improved upon for a future CoH3.

Orders had come down from Corps Command to form a kamfpgruppe and block the advance of the Guards Armoured Division.
Using elements of the 255th Volksgrenadier Division and 21st Panzer Division the Kampfgruppe Wolf was formed and sent to battle.

A fatal flaw had been made during the advance of the 3rd Tank Corps and suddenly it found itself in a precarious position. To exploit this precarious position the 3rd SS Panzer Division was ordered in to destroy it before it could pull out or be saved.
The snow would be stained by the blood of many that day.

East of Warsaw Operation Bagration is slowly beginning to lose momentum, but it still has energy left.
In the path of the 6th Mechanised Corps stands the Herman Goering Panzer Divisioin.
And so on the fields of Eastern Poland, they clash.

On the lonely road to Arnhem. 30th Corps quickly found it wasn't that lonely as German defenders were quick to be found dotted along it.
But it was the 107th Panzer Brigade that would prove to be the biggest challenge and nuisance.

As the eastern front is slowly pushed back. It becomes increasingly imperative to remind the allies of the Reich who is in charge. And so the 19th Panzer Division, still depleted from previous fighting finds itself in the path of the 2nd Guards Mechanized Corps with a vague promise of reinforcements on the way.

At the edge of the Hürtgen Forest the 4th Armoured Division prepares for a push towards the Rhine. Tanks are loaded up and fuelled. Infantry given fresh packs of ammunition. All is good to go as they enter the dark woods of the Hürtgen. Unwares that waiting for them is a reinforced Kampfgruppe.

Bringing up supplies and replacements, the 7th Armoured hunkers down for the day. But there is no rest for the wicked and the Panzer Lehr launches an asault in the winter snows.

he men of the 12th SS have prepared themselves for a glorious battle. To take on the 3rd Armoured Division and to crush them !
On the other end the 3rd Armoured are ready to give the Krauts a good beating.

he Collapse of the 253rd Volksgrenadier Division had left a critical gap in the German frontline, and a british/american taskforce was assembled to exploit it.
Into this gap the Panzer Lehr was ordered forwards to punish the Allies for their Hubris.

2nd week of the Battle of the Bulge and the 2nd SS Panzer Division is trying to force a breakthrough despite previous failed attempts. Barring the way is the 1st Armoured Division, flush with success with repelling the 15th Panzergrenadier Division.
Can the 2nd SS Succeed where the 15th failed ? Or will the 1st Armoured Division stand strong again ?

The Kamfgruppe Knaust had been tasked with holding a small but vital River Crossing, keeping the flank of the 2nd SS Panzer Corps secure.
Opposing them were the 10th Tank Corps, freshly supplied with T34/85s and Infantry. Ready to launch an assault and push through.

Engines roaring the men of the Panzer Lehr Division moved out. A Breakthrough south of the Hürtgen threatened to develop into something that the German army could not contain and so they were sent in to stop it.
In the meanwhile the 3rd Armoured which had made the breakthrough had pulled back and the men of the 5th were holding the line. Unawares of the storm to come

On the eastern borders of Hungary the 2nd Guards Mechanized Corps was making good gains. The fascists had scattered before them like rats.
But like lightning from a clear sky the Feldhernhalle Panzergrenadier Division struck ! With Panthers and Hardened infantry the 2nd Guards was suddenly put on the backfoot and struggling to survive.

Through Previous hard fighting the Soviets had managed to make good gains in the face of German opposition and had begun to prepare the next series attack.
But in the morning fog the Hermann goering Fallschirm Panzer Division struck, blasting through the lines and throwing everything into dissaray

Nicely dug in alongside some French river the 5th Infantry prepares for what is hoped to be an uneventful day.
But on the other side. The 200th Pioneer Battalion prepares to attack. ordered by LX Corps to Assault and Push back the Americans in preperation for a push by the 2nd SS Panzer Corps.
Reinforced with armour. The 200th Launches its assault.

The 242nd Infanterie Division had just recently dug in replacing the 76th which had been worn out during successive battles.
And more was to come as the 10th Guards Tank Corps prepared another push through to Minsk.
And the next in the "things i'd like to see" series. This time covering my thoughts on Received Accuracy and how i'd like to see it changed in the future.

The Borders of Eastern Prussia are threatened by Soviet advances. The Kampfgruppe Von Saucken is dispatched to protect sacred German soil.
Opposing it is the 7th Mechanised Corps, bolstered with fresh recruits and tanks.

In preperation for a larger offensive the 7th Panzer Division was tasked with clearing out a railroad crossing held by elements of the 210th Rifle Division.
Panzers revved up. Halftracks loaded up with men and munitions. The assault commences.

Over-extended and vulnerable the 12th SS Panzer Division awaited an Infantry Division to relieve it of it's current positions.
But III Corps was having none of that and 2nd Armoured was sent in to keep the kraut bastards occupied and wear them down
