Please let Relic take note of the map video... "The Somme is exactly how I'd describe most 2v2 maps. It's hard to come up with clever maneuvers when your opponent's always only 20 feet away.
Wider maps with well-placed LOS blockers would make for some epic flanks, rather than the puddingy arty vs arty or blob-rush vs MG. Would also make it harder to safely sit support weapons and rocket arty at the back since supporting units would be more spread out.
Tell 'em Dane.

Orders had come in for the 84th Infantrie Division to hold the village at all costs, spare effort in defence of it. It was vital to cover a future assault by the 1st SS Panzer Corps.
The only thing in the way was the 1st Amoured Division, hellbent on breaking through with patton breathing down it's back.
