You have to consider other factors to take a guess at the numbers.

You're assuming that 4k play 12 hours a day, 2k of which play 24 hours a day. Just because 4k players are playing at a given time doesn't mean all active, regular players are playing at that time.

We see a common trend.
The EU has the largest player base.
We see peak game activity (3-5k) a working week day between 21:00 - 23:00 CET.
After that we can presume that the rest of the world logins, roughly 2k. We should not forget that some people logon only once or twice a week, we can see that Sundays often produce the highest numbers.
