Infantry can use 1 box wide, AT will go through 2 boxes wide. I use this for movement restriction on one of my maps, and it works well.
Keep in mind, the AI will bunch up at the entrance to it, if it is too packed, so if you are doing this to restrict movement, such as I did, make multiple paths in the same area, this will reduce traffic jams.

Infantry can use 1 box wide, AT will go through 2 boxes wide. I use this for movement restriction on one of my maps, and it works well.

And I knew that, I made a map earlier, called Operation Bridge Builder; there are three bridges in this map, 2 of them destroyed at the beginning. What happened? Well, the AI spammed all units on the bridge that wasn't destroyed. And it was a foot bridge, so everything gets stuck. I've learned from that, lol.
