I see loads of German players needlessly engage T-34s up close with P4s when they would just be better off holding ground and shooting from a far. Where a stationary P4 will have a 55% chance to hit the T-34 and then a 66% chance to penetrate at max distance where as the T-34 will also have a 55% chance to hit the chance to penetrate is only 44%

While that might be the chance of rolling a hit, the chance of hitting through scatter despite a rolled miss is much, much higher on the T34. I'm pretty sure we've never actually gotten any kind of scatter formula but as a purely pulled out my arse guesstimate, the T34 will hit over 85% of the time at max range while the PIV manages 66% at most. The Panther has a similar problem, it can't hit anything at range because of the abysmal scatter stats.

So scatter does affect the p4. no wonder my p4 managed to miss point blank.

Somehow the last game i played pz 4 missed 3 shots in a row from close range(Near point blank) on a immobilized t-34..then second t-34 came and killed my half health p4....i ragequit.
