Pumas and Target Weak Point

Pumas are too good.
They're health is alright, their armour isn't great, but their gun is just too good. I just came out of a 2v2 where an opponent spammed them against my T-34-85s. The problem was that he'd target weakpoint, shut down a tank long enough to inflict significant damage to it and that would allow the Puma spam to charge in and the T-34-85s just wouldn't be able get enough shots off to compensate. In the spirit of balance testing I decided to assault my 2 T-34-85s at the Pumas, I reasoned that if aggressively pushed they'd fold up because of poor armour. That failed abismally. Both Pumas got away on almost no health and the Tiger Ace rolled up to save the day. Smoke hardly helped the situation either.

That and the impression I get that they have the same range as the StuG. This needs to be looked at since with the doctrines we had there was nothing to stop them. That and the other guy spamming elite infantry + TA...

My suggestion would be removal of Target Weakpoint or else a rate of fire reduction. The puma spam is too easily able to get in a lot of shots whilst the enemy is stunned.

Fully agreed. This is to much. They made a mistake, this is an OP commander. Lend lease on the other hand is to weak. He needs some buffs, for instance making shermanns be equal wit panthers

You want the Sherman to be equal to something much more expensive than it? It's already got great AI capability.

T34/76's ive noticed does a very good job for its cost against Pumas together with some Guards. T34/85's just cant hit shit :/

Anyways i'd suggest keeping the Puma as it is and trying if reducing its Health would balance it better and also the StuG needs to be checked upon.

What makes the puma op is the veteran ability. It should be replaced with something else.

Target weakpoint should ony be available for turretless vehicles. They need that ability to disable flanking tanks.

But I must also say that the Sherman is too good as well.

Use AT guns against the Puma, vehicles are not hard counters. AT guns are. Let us know how this works out.

The puma is counter intuitive. It looks like a scout car but it costs 80 fuel- as much as the stug IIIG. It has a 50mm gun but its range is 50 and penetration is same or better than the medium tanks. It only does 120 damage instead of 160, though.

Frankly, I'm thinking that it's like the M10 wolverine or M18 from VCOH. I was quite surprised that it could easily destroy and damage T-34s and shermans.

@MarcoRossolini. I agree.

The games I've played, people make spam Puma. Weak Point Target as you say, should take off and put something else. TWP should be to slow vehicles; pack40, brumar, tigerace, ect. Fast vehicles is undue advantage, because people use them with spam Puma.

Both Pumas and Shermans are perfectly balanced imo.
